Position Overview

You spearhead growth for a chat-commerce platform used by India’s SMBs. You own acquisition, retention, and revenue levers across online and offline channels while working directly with the founders. Your strategies and team-building unlock financial freedom for countless small entrepreneurs.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Architect and execute the client’s growth strategy across online and offline channels to drive exponential sign-ups, adoption, and retention.
  • Build and scale offline growth engines—including community programs, local reseller networks, influencer-led commerce, and partnerships with ecosystem enablers.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a cross-functional growth team spanning performance marketing, lifecycle marketing, partnerships, and analytics.
  • Design and run growth experiments across awareness, activation, retention, and revenue; turn data into actionable insights.
  • Partner with Product, Data, and Brand teams to optimise user experience and increase lifetime value.
  • Create and own strategic alliances with fintech, logistics, and creator platforms to accelerate reach and adoption.
  • Drive growth metrics such as CAC, LTV, activation rate, and churn reduction with a focus on sustainable scalability.
  • Champion the voice of the SMB, ensuring every initiative reflects their aspirations for growth and independence.
  • Lead with energy, conviction, and urgency, inspiring teams to outperform and own outcomes.

Must have Criteria

  • 6–10 years of experience in Growth, Marketing, or Business Leadership within SaaS, e-commerce, or SMB-focused startups.
  • Deep understanding of India’s SMB and homepreneur ecosystem, including how these businesses think, sell, and scale.
  • Hands-on experience building offline acquisition channels and community-driven distribution.
  • Proven track record of driving hyper-growth through creative, data-backed, and scalable strategies.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into experiments and results.
  • Goal-driven leadership style suited to fast-paced, high-ownership environments.
  • Storytelling skills with empathy that inspire SMBs and align internal teams.
  • Passion for financial inclusion, entrepreneurship, and impact at scale.
