Role Overview

We’re looking for a Front-End Engineer to take full ownership of our web application interface. As the first dedicated front-end engineer in the team, you’ll shape the architecture, define the UI components library, and work closely with backend, product, and design to ship high-quality, responsive, and scalable user experiences. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role where your work directly influences user satisfaction and the face of our platform.

Key Responsibilities

Own front-end architecture and end-to-end implementation.
Build modular, reusable React components (Hooks, Context, TypeScript).
Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs effectively, ensuring fast and seamless UX.
Work closely with product and design to translate Figma or wireframes into pixel-perfect, responsive UIs.
Implement performance optimizations, lazy loading, and fine-grained state management for large datasets.
Setup and manage front-end testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library) to ensure stable releases.
Build internal tools like dashboards, rule builders, reconciliation views), to enable business and ops teams.
Take full ownership of shipping, debugging, and iterating features end-to-end
Monitor and improve accessibility, performance, and bundle size..

Requirements

3 years of hands-on experience in building production-grade front-end applications using React.js.
Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive UI development.
Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, or Context API).
Comfortable integrating with REST/GraphQL APIs and handling auth, error boundaries, pagination, and loaders.
Understanding of front-end performance, lazy loading, bundle optimizations, etc.
Experience working with component libraries (Chakra UI, Tailwind, Material UI, etc.).
Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD workflows, and agile environments.
Startup mindset – ready to take ownership, thrive in ambiguity, and ship fast.

Nice to Have

Exposure to back-end stack (Node.js / Python) to debug or test APIs during integration.
Experience building data-heavy interfaces like dashboards, financial reports, or admin consoles.
Sensibility towards design systems and UX consistency.
Familiarity with Chart libraries, form builders, and drag-drop libraries.
Understanding of financial systems and process involved
